Dr. Michael Hairfield originally hails from
North Carolina, but as a Virginia resident since 1965, considers himself a
Virginian first. He graduated from
James Madison University with a Communications degree and received his Doctor
of Veterinary Medicine degree from the Virginia-Maryland Regional College of

advice and care for their four-legged family members is Dr. Hairfield’s
ultimate goal as a medical professional.
His other great passion is spending time with his wife, Barbara, and three
wonderful children. Michael’s
primary hobbies are participating in his church including singing in his church
choir, voraciously reading books of various genres and suffering through the
Minnesota Viking’s football season each and every year.

companion animal practitioner is a member of the:
American Animal Hospital Association,
